Testicular Tumours Many men have swellings around the testis such as cysts and varicose veins and have no problems during a lifetime. However occasionally tumours of the testicle can occur. Most testicular tumours are cancerous but curable. The time spent waiting for treament may make a difference so any man with concerns must check with his GP as soon as possible: an ultrasound scan will give a clear diagnosis in almost all cases.
